The Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences, UDS, has announced the release of the 2nd quarter edition of The Bioscience Newsletter (TBN) - the faculty’s newsletter. It features Bioscience discourses between April and June 2022, news from the 2nd quarter of 2022, events, and story highlights for faculty, students, and alumni.
A message from the Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences, Professor Elliot Haruna Alhassan, culled from the Newsletter says in part “In this edition of TBN, you will be treated to a series of thematic seminars featured in our Bioscience Discourse for the quarter, illustration of our attractive postgraduate and undergraduate academic programmes, postgraduate thesis experience, exhibition of our infrastructural capacity and competence, and evidence of practical training of the minds and hands of our students.”
In June this year, the Faculty of Biosciences received approval from the Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gabriel Ayum Teye, of a request for the production of a Newsletter.
The Bioscience Newsletter is the latest addition to the University for Development Studies’ growing list of platforms and outlets for researchers, particularly, members of the faculty of Biosciences.
