Background
Prof Eliasu Mumuni is an Associate Professor of Development Communication and Knowledge Management and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale-Ghana. He is also a Fulbright African Scholar at the Appalachian State University (ASU) in Boone, North Carolina-USA, and a Visiting Research Fellow at Shinawatra University in Thailand. He has PhD in Communication Studies and Knowledge Management from the University of Nottingham, UK/Malaysia, and a PhD in Agricultural Extension from the North University, South Africa. His research interests focus on development communication, media and development, organisational and science communication, and knowledge management. Prof. Mumuni also receives the prestigious University Partnership Grant from the US State Department. He was the Oversight Head of the Department of Communication and Media Studies at KNUSTFORD University. He has won several grants and consulted for several international organisations, including the US Embassy, Ghana, the New York University, UKRI-UK, CDD Ghana, IITA, OXFAM, Population Media Center in Vermont USA, USAID, GIZ, FactSpace West Africa, Dubawa, NORSAAC, Peace Council Ghana, GBC, Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), and other local NGOs.
