Background

Joan Shine Davids (PhD) is a lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology. She is currently the Faculty Third Trimester Field Practical Program (TTFPP) Coordinator, Department Representative to the Nyankpala Campus Board, Department Seminar/TTFPP Coordinator, Faculty Representative to the School of Economics Board, and Department Diploma Coordinator. Joan Shine Davids has over 3 years of working experience at the University for Development Studies as a teacher and researcher. She has refereed article publications and presented academic papers at international and local conferences. Her teaching covers areas such as Environmental Nano-remediation, Biosafety and Ethical Issues in Biotechnology, Introduction to Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Laboratory Practices. Her research focuses on areas such as Biosynthesis of Nanoparticles, Nanoparticle characterization, Biomedical application of nanoparticles, Biosynthesized nanoparticles in water treatment, and Bio-nanotechnology/Nanotechnology.
