Background
Dongsogo Julius is Lecturer at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Bioscience since 2021. Dongsogo Julius is a Professional Biomedical Scientist and currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Biochemistry, KNUST, Kumasi where he is working on developing a polyherbal exact capable of exhibiting hepato-renal regeneration and hepato-renal protective activity. Prior to joining UDS, he worked as Principal Biomedical Scientist with Tamale Teaching Hospital for over ten (10) years. His expertise are molecular and clinical biochemistry analysis, public speaking, entrepreneurial. His areas of Research include Role of phytochemicals in modulating metabolic diseases like type-2 diabetics mellitus, hypertension, metabolic syndrome and stroke. Safety studies of food products and herbal medicinal products like nitric oxide levels, water quality, microbial pathogens, environmental and chemical pollutants. Molecular features and characterization of pathogens and their relation to clinical, environmental and industrial outcomes. Dongsogo Julius is regular presenter at various International conferences, workshops and Seminars.
