Background
Mr. Nana Aboagye Acheampong is an adept microbiologist, who has over ten (10) years of working experience in the field of microbiology. He holds a master’s degree in microbiology and a bachelor’s in biological sciences. He works at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Nyankpala, Ghana, as a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Biosciences. His main research areas include microbial fermentation, enzyme technology, biotechnology, biomass valorization, biofabrication, and microbial metabolites as new drug leads. He has also collaborated on research with international and local partners (including waste management and ethanol manufacturing industries).
