Ms. Naomi Kuokor Neequaye is a Lecturer with the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences. She has a Master of philosophy degree in Home Economics with food and nutrition as her major area of focus from the University of Cape Coast. Since her joining the University for Development Studies as an academic staff in 2020, she has provided instruction in Introduction to Food and Nutrition, Community Nutrition, New Food Product Development, Population and Family Life Education and Principles of Housing and Housing Management at the undergraduate level, as well as Principles of Nutrition at the diploma level. Ms Neequaye has conducted research in areas of Home Economics Education, food product development, food and nutrition with malnutrition and food fortification as interest. She has also conducted research in general social issues that affect girl child and adolescents. Her interest areas are Vocational and Technical Education, indigenous foods in Ghana and how to improve the nutritional and aesthetic quality, new food development, food security and family life issues.
