Background
Dr. Samuel J. Cobbina is a Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment of the University for Development Studies (UDS). He has a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from Jiangsu University and an MPhil. in Environmental Science from the University of Ghana. He has research and teaching experience spanning a period of sixteen years in the field of Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment, toxicological health risk assessment of toxicants and pollution control. He has been involved in various research projects funded by organizations such as CIDA, UNICEF, IUCN, UNESCO/SIDA and WB. Dr. Cobbina has been a Head of Department and a Vice Dean of DEEM and FNRE, respectively, all in UDS.
